On the 15th of August every year, every Indian is made aware of the chequered past of the country. The arduous struggle for freedom and the immortal sacrifices of our freedom fighters is remembered by free India. On this day, the largest democracy of the world celebrates the gift of freedom given to her by the brave patriots. This day commemorates India's legal freedom from the British imperialist rule.
The celebrations begin in the morning when the National Flag is unfurled at the Red Fort. The Tri - color waving in the wind symbolizes the assertion of the country's freedom & her triumphant call of sovereignty.
With Independence Day knocking at our doorstep, we would like to explore some insights into our Indian National Flag.

Unofficial flag of India in 1906 The first national flag in India is said to have been hoisted on August 7, 1906, in the Parsee Bagan Square (Green Park) in Calcutta now Kolkata. The flag was composed of three horizontal strips of red, yellow and green. The Berlin committee flag, first raised by Bhikaiji Cama in 1907 The second flag was hoisted in Paris by Madame Cama and her band of exiled revolutionaries in 1907 (according to some inl9OS). This was very similar to the first flag except that the top strip had only one lotus but seven stars denoting the Saptarishi. This flag was also exhibited at a socialist conference in Berlin.
The flag used during the Home Rule movement in 1917 The third flag went up in 1917 when our political struggle had taken a definite turn. Dr. Annie Besant and Lokmanya Tilak hoisted it during the Home rule movement. This flag had five red and four green horizontal strips arranged alternately, with seven stars in the saptarishi configuration super-imposed on them. In the left-hand top corner (the pole end) was the Union Jack. There was also a white crescent and star in one corner. The flag unofficially adopted in 1921 During the session of the All India Congress Committee which met at Bezwada in 1921 (now Vijayawada) an Andhra youth prepared a flag and took it to Gandhiji. It was made up of two colours-red and green-representing the two major communities i.e. Hindus and Muslims. Gandhiji suggested the addition of a white strip to represent the remaining communities of India and the spinning wheel to symbolise progress of the Nation.
Flag suggested by All India Congress in 1931 This flag was suggested during the All India Congress Committee session in 1931. However, the Committee's suggestion was not approved. The flag adopted in 1931. This flag was also the battle ensign of the Indian National Army The year 1931 was a landmark in the history of the flag. A resolution was passed adopting a tricolor flag as our national flag. This flag, the forbear of the present one, was saffron, white and green with Mahatma Gandhi's spinning wheel at the center. It was, however, clearly stated that it bore no communal significance and was to be interpreted thus.

On July 22, 1947, the Constituent Assembly adopted it as Free India National Flag. After the advent of Independence, the colours and their significance remained the same. Only the Dharma Charkha of Emperor Asoka was adopted in place of the spinning wheel as the emblem on the flag. Thus, the tricolour flag of the Congress Party eventually became the tricolour flag of Independent India.

		Colours of the Flag: In the national flag of India the top band is of Saffron colour, indicating the strength and courage of the country. The White middle band indicates peace and truth with Dharma Chakra. The last band is Green in colour shows the fertility, growth and auspiciousness of the land. The Chakra: This Dharma Chakra depicted the "wheel of the law" in the Sarnath Lion Capital made by the 3rd-century BC Mauryan Emperor Ashoka. The chakra intends to show that there is life in movement and death in stagnation.

खिल खिली है धुप,
धरती भी है मगन |
लहरे हैं झूम रही,
क्यों न हम बलखा के निकले ||

मौसम नया नया सा है,
धुले धुले से हैं रास्ते |
सब ने किया है सोलह सिंगार,
क्यों न हम ईतरा के निकले ||

हरी भरी है वादिय,
मोर नृत्य है कर रहे |
चहुँ-और है हरसो उलास,
क्यों न हम मुस्करा के निकले ||

बहारों ने किया है इंतज़ार,
वों भी आज सज़ स्वर के निकले |
मिलेंगे बड़े दिनों बाद,

नमस्कार

आप सभी से अनुरोध है की मेरे सपने और परिश्रम पे एक नज़र डाले और ब्लॉगर की तरह ही काव्यलोक पर भीअपना प्यार बनाये रखे|

जी, काव्यलोक मेरे सपने का साकार स्वरूप है जो की आप सभी की सेवा में प्रस्तुत है। वैसे तो मै निरंतर ब्लॉगर पे अपनी कोशिशे डालता रहता हूँ पर मेरी खुद की वेबसाइट हों जो मेरी सोच अनुसार हों ये सपना काव्यलोक के साथ ही साकार हुआ। हालाकि अभी भी इसमें सुधर कार्य चल रहा है पर मुझे इस समय आप लोगो की सबसे जयादा जरूरत है।

काव्यलोक पर आप अपनी रचना या कोई भी रचना,गीत, ग़ज़ल कुछ भी पोस्ट कर सकते है। निवेदन बस इतना है की यथा संभव रचनाकार का नाम भी बताये। आखिर जिस सम्मान के वों अधिकारी है वों तो उन्हें मिलना ही चाहिए।

काव्यलोक पे आप किसी भी मुद्दे को उठा कर लोगो की राये भी जान सकते है यही नहीं हम लोगो से ये भी जानेंगे की उनके प्रयास क्या रहे। उनके प्रयासों को सराहने के लिए उनकी स्टोरी "वाल ऑफ़ फेम" पर लगाये जाएगी।

बहुत हुआ बाते करना, समय अब ठोस कदम उठाने का है। समाज, देश, पृथ्वी और समस्त ब्रमांड को हमारी जरूरत है। कदम बढ़ाये, आगे आये |

धडकता है दिल अब भी,
पर इसमें अब वों बात नहीं |

क्यों तुम्हारा मिलना अब,
खुशियों की सौगात नहीं |

क्यों मन भारी होता है,
अब तुम्हें सोच कर भी |

क्यों हमें अब कोई आस नहीं,
हमारी हसी में वों उल्लास नहीं|

क्यों बदल गए तुम इतना ,
तुम पे होता विस्वास नहीं |

क्यों दिल में सवाल उठते है,
मिलते अब इनके जवाब नहीं |

क्यों इतने दूर तुम लगने लगे,
की तुम्हारे होने का भी एहसास नहीं |

क्यों अब भी खड़े हम उसी मोड़ पे,
जिसपे थामा तुमने मेरे हाथ नहीं |

बाहें फैली हैं अब भी आलिंगन के लिए,
आ जाओ होती सदा के लिए रात नहीं |

dhadktha hai dil ab bhi,
per isme ab vo baat nahi|

kyo tumhara milna ab,
khushiyo ki saugaat nahi|

kyo man bhari hota hai,
ab tumhe soch kar bhi |

kyo hame ab koi aas nahi,
hamari hasi me vo ullas nahi|

kyo badal gaye tum itna ,
tum pe hota viswas nahi|

kyo dil me sawaal uthte hai,
milte ab inke jawab nahi|

kyo itne dur tum lagne lage,
ki tumhare hone ka bhi ehsaas nahi|

kyo ab bhi khade hum usi mod pe,
jispe thama tumne mere haath nahi|

baahe faili hain ab bhi aalingan ke liye,
aa jaoo hoti sada ke liye raat nahi

क्यों दूर जाने लगे हो

मिलते क्यों नहीं हमसे
क्यों नज़रें चुराने लगे हो

तुम्हे प्यार नहीं हमसे तो
क्यों सपनो में आने लगे हो

अगर प्यार है तो इतने
क्यों शर्त लगाने लगे हो
