धडकता है दिल अब भी,
पर इसमें अब वों बात नहीं |

क्यों तुम्हारा मिलना अब,
खुशियों की सौगात नहीं |

क्यों मन भारी होता है,
अब तुम्हें सोच कर भी |

क्यों हमें अब कोई आस नहीं,
हमारी हसी में वों उल्लास नहीं|

क्यों बदल गए तुम इतना ,
तुम पे होता विस्वास नहीं |

क्यों दिल में सवाल उठते है,
मिलते अब इनके जवाब नहीं |

क्यों इतने दूर तुम लगने लगे,
की तुम्हारे होने का भी एहसास नहीं |

क्यों अब भी खड़े हम उसी मोड़ पे,
जिसपे थामा तुमने मेरे हाथ नहीं |

बाहें फैली हैं अब भी आलिंगन के लिए,
आ जाओ होती सदा के लिए रात नहीं |

dhadktha hai dil ab bhi,
per isme ab vo baat nahi|

kyo tumhara milna ab,
khushiyo ki saugaat nahi|

kyo man bhari hota hai,
ab tumhe soch kar bhi |

kyo hame ab koi aas nahi,
hamari hasi me vo ullas nahi|

kyo badal gaye tum itna ,
tum pe hota viswas nahi|

kyo dil me sawaal uthte hai,
milte ab inke jawab nahi|

kyo itne dur tum lagne lage,
ki tumhare hone ka bhi ehsaas nahi|

kyo ab bhi khade hum usi mod pe,
jispe thama tumne mere haath nahi|

baahe faili hain ab bhi aalingan ke liye,
aa jaoo hoti sada ke liye raat nahi

थाम लो हाथ को मेरे
क्यों दूर जाने लगे हो

मिलते क्यों नहीं हमसे
क्यों नज़रें चुराने लगे हो

तुम्हे प्यार नहीं हमसे तो
क्यों सपनो में आने लगे हो

अगर प्यार है तो इतने
क्यों शर्त लगाने लगे हो

ऐसा क्या माँगा मैंने तुमसे
क्यों इतना घबराने लगे हो

ऐसा क्या न दे सका मैं
क्यों इतना सकुचाने लगे हो

मिल जाओ हमसे बरखा बनके
क्यों बदली बन उड़ जाने लगे हो

thaam lo haath ko mere
kyon door jaane lage ho

milate kyon nahiin hamase
kyon nazaren churaane lage ho

tumhe pyaar nahiin hamase to
kyon sapano men aane lage ho

agar pyaar hai to itane
kyon shart lagaane lage ho

aisaa kyaa maangaa mainne tumase
kyon itanaa ghabaraane lage ho

aisaa kyaa n de sakaa main
kyon itanaa sakuchaane lage ho

mil jaao hamase barakhaa banake
kyon badalii ban ud jaane lage ho

शिकवा करो न आप, न कोई अब शिकायत करो
जाते जाते हों सके तो, हमपें एक इनायत करो
खुदा के रहमो करम से मिले थे आप हमें
अब आप खुद ही इस ज़हां से हमें रुक्सत करो

sikwa karo na aap, na koi ab shikayat karo
jaate jaate ho sake to, humpen ek inayat karo
khuda ke rahmo karam se mile the aap humen
ab aap khud hi is zahan se hamen ruksat karo

उन्हें याद कर लेता हूँ अक्सर,
घिरा हूँ जब, महफ़िल में तनहाई से..
शायद आज वों हमारे होते,
जो डरे न होते हम रुशवाई से...

unhe yaad kar leta hun aksar,
ghira hun jab, mahfil me tanhayee se..
shayd aaj vo hamare hote,
jo dare na hote hum rushavayee se...
